Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power; put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for our struggle is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on the evil day and, having prevailed against everything, to stand firm.

Book Club is reading Things I Wish I Told My Mother by Susan Patterson, Susan Dilallo, and James Patterson. Luncheon meeting October 13 following service.
Rockport Kidz are serving the congregation a pancake breakfast on September 8 following service to thank them for supporting their programs throughout the year. Sign up on Kidz Korner page.
Apple Festival is October 5th from 4-7. Full ham dinner with all the fixins' and apple crisp and ice cream dessert! Take out or eat in. Seniors $12, Adults $15, Children $8, 3 and under free.
