Our Outreach
Our outreach is about both doing and giving — supporting programs that serve our community, and hosting events that help fund these ministries. These programs and fundraisers are run by the Ladies Aid at Rockport Presbyterian Church.
Programs We Sponsor
Rockport Kidz
Rockport Kidz is a free children's program made possible through the generous support of our Ladies Aid, who provide all of the supplies throughout the year. Open to both our church family and the surrounding community, the program offers children opportunities to bake, fish, create arts and crafts, paint, make candy, and enjoy many other fun, hands-on activities. Through every gathering, we strive to create a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, build friendships, and experience God's love.
Annual Christmas Giving Tree
Each Christmas season, Rockport shares the joy of giving through our Christmas Giving Tree. The tree is decorated with tags, each representing a gift wish or need from the children of a local family. Members of our congregation select a tag, purchase the gift, and return it to bless the children during the holidays. It’s a beautiful tradition that reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas — sharing love, generosity, and hope with those who need it most. Rockport Church was blessed to sponsor five families during the 2025 Christmas season, extending support and joy throughout our community.
Veteran's Haven North
Each Christmas season, we are delighted to support the incredible work of Veterans Haven North Rehabilitation Center in Glen Gardner, New Jersey. Through the fundraising the Ladies Aid program works all year for, we proudly make a monetary donation to help provide support for veterans working to rebuild their lives. It is our privilege to give back to those who have so faithfully served our country, sharing Christ's love through compassion, gratitude, and tangible acts of kindness during the Christmas season.
Hoving Home
At Rockport, we’re blessed to partner with Hoving Home, a faith-based ministry that helps women rebuild their lives through God’s love and grace. Each year, our church supports the women of Hoving Home in meaningful ways. During the holidays, we collect donations to share encouragement and meet practical needs. In the summer, we host a special luncheon where the women join us to share their stories, enjoy fellowship, and celebrate the hope and transformation God is bringing into their lives. These moments of connection remind us all of the power of compassion, community, and faith in action.
Heifer's International
Every holiday season, Rockport Presbyterian Church is proud to support Heifer International, a global organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty through sustainable agriculture. Our financial contributions help provide livestock, training, and resources that empower families to build self-sufficient futures, creating lasting change for communities around the world.

Sweeten your Easter with Rockport’s Annual Easter Candy Sale! Indulge in our homemade chocolate treats — rich, decadent, and made with love. Every bite supports our Ladies Aid group, helping fund the outreach programs that make a difference in our community year-round. It’s a delicious way to celebrate the season, share a treat with loved ones, and support a wonderful cause!
Annual Strawberry Festival in June
Our Annual Strawberry Festival is one of Rockport’s most beloved traditions! Each summer, we gather for an all-you-can-eat ham dinner with all the fixings and plenty of delicious strawberry dessert. Guests can join us in fellowship for a sit-down meal or enjoy takeout to bring the goodness home. Proceeds from the festival support our Ladies Aid group, helping fund the many outreach programs that serve our community throughout the year. It’s a wonderful day of food, friendship, and faith in action — and everyone is welcome!
A Sundae on A Sunday in August
A Sundae on a Sunday is Rockport Presbyterian Church's newest community fundraiser, bringing neighbors together for an afternoon of ice cream, fellowship, and fun. Every donation helps support the church's outreach ministries, allowing us to continue serving our local community and partner organizations throughout the year. By enjoying a sweet treat together, you're helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Our Ladies Aid is a devoted group of women who bring heart and hands together to serve others, making many of our outreach ministries possible. Through their dedication, they organize events, coordinate community initiatives, assemble donations, and lead fundraising efforts that support our mission of serving those in need. Their compassion and commitment help strengthen our church's connection to the community while making a lasting impact on the lives of others.
